Remember, being the #2 ranked team pre-season and playing a pedestrian schedule against only two ranked teams (#19 Oklahoma State and #22 Nebraska) and out-of-conference doormats Louisiana-Lafayette, Wyoming, UTEP and UCF is a better body of work than beating two higher ranked teams (#14 BYU and #23 Utah) and ACC runner-up Clemson. Oh yeah, and struggling in your last two games instead of completely dominating since mid-October is much more impressive to the pollsters.
